Pdi Specialist

Job Purpose: The PDI Specialist is responsible for inspecting, testing, and preparing vehicles, electric golf carts, and related products before delivery to customers, ensuring that every unit meets the company’s quality, safety, functionality, and presentation standards before release. Key Responsibilities: The role includes conducting detailed pre-delivery inspections of vehicles, electric golf carts, and other units; inspecting the exterior, interior, electrical systems, mechanical components, batteries, lights, tires, brakes, steering, and other key components; performing functional and operational tests; identifying defects, damage, missing parts, and technical issues; accurately recording inspection results using the company’s inspection checklist or system; coordinating with the Technicians, Workshop, Warehouse, and Operations teams to resolve identified issues; re-inspecting units after repairs or corrections to confirm that all issues have been properly resolved; ensuring that each unit is clean, properly assembled, and ready for customer delivery; verifying that accessories, tools, spare parts, chargers, keys, manuals, and other required items are complete; ensuring compliance with company specifications and customer requirements; reporting major or repeated defects to the PDI Supervisor or Quality/Operations Manager; maintaining proper records of inspections, repairs, and final approvals; supporting the preparation of units for customer handover and delivery; following all company safety procedures and quality standards; and performing other duties related to vehicle inspection and delivery preparation as assigned. The position requires a diploma or technical certification in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in vehicle inspection, PDI, automotive service, quality control, workshop operations, or a related position. Experience with electric vehicles, golf carts, automotive vehicles, or similar equipment is an advantage. Candidates should have a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to use basic diagnostic and testing equipment, strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects, the ability to read and understand technical specifications and inspection checklists, basic computer skills for preparing inspection reports and records, good communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines. A valid Saudi driving licence is an advantage.
