MEP Estimation and Costing Engineer
Job Description
Ghars Al Mazen Limited Company, a leading company specializing in swimming pool MEP design and execution, is seeking a talented and experienced MEP Estimation and Costing Engineer to join its growing team in Jeddah. Applicants must currently be located in Saudi Arabia, and candidates from civil engineering, QA/QC, safety, or other disciplines will not be considered. The company is specifically seeking a mechanical engineer with relevant design and site execution experience in water works, swimming pools, water features, and related construction fields. The requirements for this position include 5 to 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years as an Estimation Engineer in the MEP field, preferably on MEP projects, as well as a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. Hands-on experience in project site execution is mandatory. The role requires strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, project costing, budgeting, value engineering, and procurement, along with the ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software is required, as are strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tenders and meet submission deadlines. Experience in the GCC construction industry is highly preferred. Candidates must be available for local transfer within Saudi Arabia, and immediate joiners will be preferred.
