Ehss Trainer
Job Description
Deliver EHSS training programs and orientations in industrial safety. Develop and deliver training on safety topics including Permit to Work, Confined Space Entry, and Fire Prevention. Support workforce mobilization during shutdown and turnaround activities. Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ISO standards and EHSS best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in EHS training or industrial safety in power, oil & gas, petrochemical, or heavy industry.
- Minimum 3 years experience in training development and delivery.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience delivering EHSS training, orientations, and contractor onboarding.
- Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong presentation, communication, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
- Train-the-Trainer certification and NEBOSH or equivalent preferred.
