Job Description
A technical office draftsman and CNC operator is required for a carpentry company. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and designs, ensuring quality through inspections and maintenance, and adhering to safety protocols. Key duties include setting up machines, monitoring operations, performing routine maintenance, conducting quality control, and maintaining accurate production records. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes and safety, comprehensive knowledge of 2D and 3D software, and knowledge of the programming language required for the CNC machine. The candidate must also prepare technical CAD drawings, the 3D models required for the machine, and bills of quantities for carpentry projects.
