Urgent Vacancy for a Residential Electrician from the Philippines to Work at the Company Chairman’s Palace in Riyadh Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Nationality Requirement: Only candidates of Philippine nationality will be considered. Job Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks specifically within a residential building environment. This must be performed while adhering strictly to safety protocols, maintaining quality workmanship, and complying fully with all applicable electrical standards. Key Responsibilities: • Execute installations, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic troubleshooting of residential electrical systems. • Carry out installation and upkeep of electrical wiring, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, distribution boards, and circuit breakers. • Identify and resolve electrical faults, including but not limited to short circuits, power failures, and other electrical malfunctions. • Conduct electrical installations for newly constructed residential units as well as renovation and refurbishment projects. • Install various lighting systems including ceiling lights, outdoor lighting, exhaust fans, and other associated electrical fixtures. • Perform regular inspections of electrical wiring and equipment to detect potential faults or hazards affecting safety. • Utilize appropriate electrical testing tools and equipment to assess the integrity and functionality of circuits and devices. • Replace faulty or damaged electrical components such as cables, switches, socket outlets, and circuit breakers. • Interpret and understand basic electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately to guide work processes. • Ensure that all electrical activities are executed safely and conform to approved procedures and regulatory requirements. • Adhere strictly to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to maintain system reliability. • Respond promptly to residential electrical maintenance requests and resolve faults within established timelines. • Maintain all electrical tools and equipment in optimal working condition through regular checks and servicing. • Collaborate and coordinate effectively with other maintenance technicians and supervisors as necessary to perform duties efficiently. • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance and repair work completed, ensuring documentation is thorough and organized. • Observe and follow all company safety policies, as well as comply with Saudi Arabian electrical safety regulations and standards. • Undertake any additional electrical duties as assigned by the direct supervisor or management to support the operational needs of the facility. Required Qualifications and Experience: • Possession of a technical diploma, vocational certificate, or an equivalent electrical trade qualification is highly preferred. • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of practical experience working specifically as a Residential Electrician is mandatory. • Previous work experience in residential settings such as villas, apartments, residential buildings, hotels, or general property maintenance will be considered an asset. • Candidates of Filipino nationality will be given preference in the selection process. • Experience working within Saudi Arabia or the broader Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region will be regarded as advantageous.
