SCADA Instrument Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a SCADA Instrument Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Electrical Engineering, or Instrumentation. The requirements include being a SCADA systems specialist with experience in preventive maintenance, pre-commissioning, commissioning, loop checks, functional testing, maintenance testing, and plant start-up and shutdown activities. Experience in refineries, petrochemical facilities, oil and gas plants, and power plants is required, along with familiarity with process control and instrumentation in power and gas plants and knowledge of DCS and HMI-based automation systems. The key responsibilities include the installation, testing, and commissioning of field instruments, including RTDs, thermocouples, flow sensors, level sensors, and pressure sensors; knowledge of vibration systems, calibration, local gauges, and DCS and PLC systems; designing, developing, and optimising instrumentation and control systems; preparing and reviewing P&IDs and loop diagrams in compliance with IEC, ISA, and API standards; carrying out maintenance and troubleshooting, including health checks and I/O diagnostics; performing detailed maintenance of control valves, including replacement of plug stems, gaskets, bonnets, and cages, and conducting automatic and manual operations; conducting SAT and FAT for instrumentation panels and marshalling cabinets to ensure accurate operation and plant safety; verifying readings on site through laboratory testing; overseeing the installation of instruments, junction boxes, and control panels; and providing technical support and guidance to multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless instrumentation integration with electrical and mechanical systems. Certification in AutoCAD, PLC, control systems, or SCADA systems is preferred.

- Preferred certification in AutoCAD, PLC, control systems, or SCADA systems.
- Ability to provide technical support and guidance to multidisciplinary electrical and mechanical teams.
