SCADA Engineer
Job Description
We are urgently seeking experienced SCADA Engineers for a three-month, project-based assignment in Majmaah, Riyadh Region, Saudi Arabia, with immediate joining required. The responsibilities include installing, configuring, testing and commissioning SCADA systems; monitoring and troubleshooting SCADA hardware, software, communication and control systems; configuring and integrating PLC and RTU systems with SCADA; establishing and troubleshooting communication protocols such as Modbus, IEC, DNP3, Ethernet/IP and others; performing system testing, fault diagnosis and commissioning activities; coordinating with electrical, instrumentation, automation and commissioning teams; reviewing SCADA drawings, control philosophies, I/O lists and technical documentation; ensuring proper system functionality and supporting project commissioning requirements; and preparing testing, commissioning and technical reports as required. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation or a related engineering discipline, with relevant experience as a SCADA Engineer on industrial, utilities, power, infrastructure or similar projects. Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, RTU and industrial communication systems, together with strong troubleshooting and commissioning experience, is required. Candidates who can join immediately are highly preferred, while Saudi Arabia experience is an advantage. A valid transferable Iqama or appropriate work authorization is preferred. - Relevant experience as a SCADA Engineer on industrial, utilities, power, infrastructure or similar projects.
- Hands-on experience with SCADA, PLC, RTU and industrial communication systems.
- Experience installing, configuring, testing and commissioning SCADA systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and commissioning skills.
- Experience with Modbus, IEC, DNP3, Ethernet/IP and other industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to review SCADA drawings, control philosophies, I/O lists and technical documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, automation and commissioning teams.
- Ability to prepare testing, commissioning and technical reports.
- Saudi Arabia project experience is an advantage.
- Immediate availability is highly preferred.
- Valid transferable Iqama or appropriate work authorization is preferred.
