Carpenter, Steel Fixer
Job Description
We are urgently hiring experienced Carpenters and Steel Fixers for ongoing site and project works, with immediate mobilization required. Candidates must be skilled tradesmen with hands-on experience in formwork, shuttering, or steel reinforcement work, as applicable, and relevant experience as a Carpenter or Steel Fixer on construction or industrial projects. Carpenters must be able to read and interpret construction drawings for formwork and shuttering requirements; fabricate, erect, and dismantle timber, plywood, and steel formwork for columns, beams, slabs, and foundations; ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of formwork; and repair and maintain formwork materials for reuse. Steel Fixers must be able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules, cut, bend, and fix reinforcement bars according to approved drawings, install spacers, chairs, and binding wires to maintain correct rebar positioning and cover, and coordinate with carpenters and site engineers to ensure proper work sequencing and quality. Both trades must follow site health, safety, and environmental rules, wear the required personal protective equipment at all times, maintain tools and equipment in good condition, and report any discrepancies or safety hazards to their supervisors. Valid Iqama and Chamber documents are required.
