HVAC Technician
Job Description
A full-time HVAC Technician is required. Applicants must be Indian or Filipino nationals and hold a transferable iqama. The core responsibilities of the role include installing, maintaining and repairing split HVAC units and their components, including compressors, air handling units, fans, belts, filters, thermostats, automatic and log switches, motors, louvers, relays, controls, heat exchangers, high-limit, fan and pressure controls, fuses, bearings, valves and gaskets. The technician will diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems, clean and adjust systems for preventive and corrective maintenance, refill freon gas when required, and detect and repair freon gas leaks when they occur. The technician must use equipment, tools and spare parts carefully and responsibly, work closely with the Appliances Technician to maintain and repair refrigerators, freezers, coolers, cold rooms, freezer rooms and hood extractors, follow the highest safety standards during maintenance and repair activities, report workplace incidents and accidents when they occur, oversee work carried out on the compound by third-party contractors, maintain daily maintenance logs, prepare reports as required and perform any other reasonable tasks required by the company.
