Junior MEP Procurement Engineer
Job Description
Urgent hiring is open for a Junior MEP Procurement Engineer in Saudi Arabia, with local transfer only; candidates must currently be in Saudi Arabia and available for transfer. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have 1–3 years of experience in MEP procurement. Key responsibilities include assisting in sourcing and procuring MEP materials, equipment, and services; obtaining supplier quotations and preparing comparative statements; assisting with price and delivery negotiations; coordinating with project engineers, site teams, the warehouse, and procurement personnel; following up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery; assisting in preparing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records; identifying and evaluating new suppliers; ensuring that materials comply with project specifications and requirements; and supporting cost-saving and value-engineering initiatives. Candidates must have knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems, as well as good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage, while good communication, negotiation, coordination, and analytical skills are required. Saudi or GCC procurement experience is preferred, and a valid Saudi driving licence is an advantage. Immediate joiners are preferred, and experience with retail, hypermarkets, supermarkets, shopping malls, hospitals, offices, commercial buildings, and civil fit-out projects is preferred.
