Special Education Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and caring female Special Education Teacher with practical experience teaching blind and visually impaired children. The successful candidate should be able to read and write Braille; use NVDA and other screen-reader technology; demonstrate computer, keyboard and typing skills; teach primary-level academic subjects; support orientation, mobility and daily-living skills; and promote children’s confidence, independence and social development. Applicants must hold a qualification in Special Education, Visual Impairment Education or a related field and have previous practical experience with visually impaired children. They should be patient, responsible and caring, with good English; Hindi is preferred.
