Anodizing Technician

This position is for an Anodizing Technician to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis. Immediate joining is required, and a walk-in interview will apply. Position Overview: The Anodizing Technician will be responsible for independently managing surface treatment workshops and executing daily production activities within Electroplating, Anodizing, and Painting operations. The role involves thorough inspection of both incoming and outgoing products to ensure quality compliance. The technician will also operate essential utility systems, including water purification and wastewater treatment facilities, and will prepare specimens for various processes as part of process qualification protocols. Key Responsibilities: 1) Execute surface pre-treatment procedures such as degreasing, masking, mechanical cleaning, and raking effectively. 2) Carry out specialized treatment processes including Electroplating, Anodizing, Chemical Conversion, and Painting operations. 3) Manage Electroplating procedures covering coatings such as Chrome, Nickel, Cadmium, Silver, and Copper. 4) Perform various Anodizing processes, including Chromic Acid Anodizing, Sulfuric Acid Anodizing, Hard Anodizing, and Phosphoric Acid Anodizing. 5) Apply Chemical Conversion treatments such as Alodine, Magnesium Chromate, Black Oxide, and Phosphating. 6) Conduct painting operations using Topcoat finishes, Aluminum Coating (SermeTel), Primers, and Solid or Dry Film Lubricants. 7) Handle post-treatment processes including Passivation, Sealing, and Dyeing to ensure product durability and finish quality. 8) Verify the quality and specifications of both incoming and outgoing products through visual inspection and the use of precise measuring tools. 9) Assist in the preparation, replenishment, and cleaning of surface treatment vats to maintain operational efficiency. 10) Support waste treatment operations as required to comply with environmental and safety guidelines. 11) Maintain familiarity with process instructions and Technical Orders (T.O.) relevant to surface treatment procedures. Requirements: - Experience or practical capability in surface pre-treatment, electroplating, anodizing, chemical conversion, painting, passivation, sealing, and dyeing processes. - Ability to operate water purification and wastewater treatment systems. - Ability to inspect incoming and outgoing products using visual checks and precision measuring tools. - Ability to prepare specimens for process qualification activities. - Familiarity with process instructions and Technical Orders (T.O.) for surface treatment work. - Knowledge of electroplating coatings including chrome, nickel, cadmium, silver, and copper. - Knowledge of anodizing processes including chromic acid, sulfuric acid, hard, and phosphoric acid anodizing. - Knowledge of chemical conversion treatments including Alodine, magnesium chromate, black oxide, and phosphating. - Knowledge of painting materials and finishes including topcoats, SermeTel aluminum coating, primers, and solid or dry film lubricants.
