Job Description
Integrated Steel Company for Cable Tray Systems (ISP), a Riyadh-based manufacturer of metallic cable management systems, including cable trays, cable trunking, basket trays, cable ladders, and supporting accessories, serving the industrial, construction, and oil and gas sectors, is seeking a full-time QA/QC Officer for its Quality Assurance and Quality Control Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for managing and developing the factory’s Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ensuring its continued effectiveness, overseeing the implementation of quality procedures and forms, and monitoring in-process production controls to ensure that products consistently meet approved specifications. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing quality procedures and forms covering document control, records control, and corrective and preventive actions; conducting periodic internal audits; issuing internal audit reports and following up on the closure of audit findings; overseeing incoming raw material inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections before shipment; monitoring quality control throughout production stages, including forming and fabrication, welding, and hot-dip galvanizing or external coating; managing nonconformance records; performing root cause analysis and driving corrective actions; coordinating with external parties as required, including testing laboratories, galvanizing subcontractors, and certification bodies; preparing periodic quality reports for management; and participating in management review meetings. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field, together with three to five years of hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in manufacturing, metal fabrication, steel products, or structural steel. Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and their practical application in a manufacturing environment is required, while ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred. Basic familiarity with welding inspection and hot-dip galvanizing processes is an advantage. Candidates must be able to prepare and document quality procedures, forms, and technical reports in both Arabic and English, demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills, maintain structured documentation habits, and be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
