Power Engineer, Electrical Technician

We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals to join our testing and commissioning team for low- and medium-voltage substations in Saudi Arabia. The available roles are Electrical Technician for low- and medium-voltage substation testing and commissioning, and Power Engineer/Electrical Technician for low- and medium-voltage substations. Responsibilities include performing testing and commissioning of low- and medium-voltage substations, conducting medium-voltage switchgear testing and commissioning activities, carrying out low-voltage panel testing and functional checks, checking control and protection schemes, identifying conflicts between system requirements, engineering designs, and installed systems, reviewing engineering drawings, diagrams, and equipment ratings, and preparing, reviewing, and modifying electrical documents and drawings, including single-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, and control and wiring diagrams. The role also requires close coordination with other engineering disciplines and site teams, effective communication and coordination of project activities with project managers, engineers, clients, and consultants, and support for troubleshooting, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities on site. Candidates must have experience in low- and medium-voltage power systems and substations, practical experience in testing and commissioning, knowledge of electrical protection, control systems, and low- and medium-voltage switchgear, the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and engineering diagrams, strong communication and coordination skills, a willingness to learn quickly, a professional and positive attitude, good English communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a professional engineering team.
