Job Description
A leading lighting manufacturing company seeks a Quality Lab Test Specialist to join its Quality Department at the factory test laboratory in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities - Perform routine and type testing on finished lighting fixtures following relevant standards. - Conduct random sampling and testing on production lines. - Prepare accurate laboratory test reports and maintain comprehensive test records. - Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment. - Manage equipment calibration schedules, certificates, and calibration status. - Report non-conformities and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions. - Ensure laboratory safety, housekeeping, documentation, and compliance with quality requirements. Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field. - 2 to 5 years of relevant experience. - Preferred experience in a testing laboratory environment. - Hands-on experience with lighting testing equipment such as Integrating Sphere, Goniophotometer, Power/Electrical Parameter Analyzers, HiPot Tester, Insulation Resistance Tester, and IP Ingress Protection Testing Facilities. - Knowledge of IEC 60598, IEC 60529, IEC 61347, LM-79, and LM-80 standards. - Highly preferred experience with IEC 60079 / IECEx testing for explosion-proof luminaires. - Familiarity with the IECEE CB Scheme, SASO requirements, SABER/SALEEM, and SASO IECEE CoC is advantageous. - Strong technical reporting and documentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP/Odoo experience is a plus. - Effective communication skills. - Candidates experienced in lighting products, electrical testing laboratories, luminaire manufacturing, or product certification/testing are encouraged to apply. Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred testing laboratory experience.
- Proficiency with lighting testing equipment (Integrating Sphere, Goniophotometer, Power/Electrical Analyzers, HiPot Tester, Insulation Resistance Tester, IP Testing).
- Knowledge of IEC 60598, IEC 60529, IEC 61347, LM-79, LM-80 standards.
- Highly preferred experience with IEC 60079 / IECEx testing.
- Familiarity with IECEE CB Scheme, SASO requirements, SABER/SALEEM, SASO IECEE CoC.
- Technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Good MS Excel skills; ERP/Odoo experience preferred.
- Good communication skills.
