Cook

A Filipino cook is required to prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring them before and during each cooking shift; follow recipes, portion guidelines, and specified cooking techniques, including grilling, baking, boiling, and sautéing, to ensure consistent meals; arrange and garnish food attractively on serving dishes before it reaches customers; and handle multiple orders simultaneously while ensuring that every dish is prepared on schedule. The cook must strictly follow food health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including measures to prevent cross-contamination, monitor and record food temperatures to ensure that ingredients remain fresh and safe for consumption, and clean, sanitize, and organize workstations, cooking utensils, and appliances before, during, and after each shift. Responsibilities also include tracking inventory levels, maintaining pantry stock records, notifying management or reordering supplies when stock is low, and labelling, dating, and properly storing prepared and unprepared food items in refrigerators and freezers. The cook will coordinate with waitstaff, chefs, and management to ensure that customer orders are accurate and delivered promptly, and assist team members with food preparation, plating, and kitchen cleanup to maintain a smooth workflow during peak service hours. A work experience certificate and a General Trade Certification are required, along with a valid, non-expired transferable iqama, and the successful candidate must be available to join immediately.
