Materials Lead
Job Description
This is a full-time Materials Lead position based in Jubail. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification is required, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within heavy fabrication, pressure vessel, or engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) operations. Key responsibilities include managing warehouse and yard operations, maintaining effective inventory control, ensuring material traceability and the proper management of Material Test Reports (MTRs), supporting compliance with health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements, overseeing material kitting and staging activities, maintaining accurate material and inventory records in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, and conducting and overseeing cycle-counting activities. Candidates should have knowledge of steel and material grades, Material Test Reports (MTRs), material traceability, warehouse operations, inventory management, ERP data accuracy, material kitting and staging processes, HSE requirements, and cycle counting, as well as team leadership and effective communication skills.
