IMMEDIATE VACANCY Spare Parts Procurement Officer A prominent multinational manufacturing corporation based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is actively seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and capable Spare Parts Procurement Officer for an immediate joining opportunity. Essential Qualifications and Requirements - Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of three years and a maximum of five years of substantial procurement experience gained within Saudi Arabia, and this requirement is mandatory. - Industry Exposure: Candidates must have proven experience working within a multinational manufacturing environment and must be familiar with the standards, processes, and expectations of an MNC setting. - Specialization: The position requires strong and focused expertise in the procurement of spare parts, as well as Maintenance, Repair, and Operations items, commonly referred to as MRO items. - Legal Status: Applicants must currently hold a transferable Iqama and must be available and ready to begin employment immediately. Key Job Responsibilities - Take full responsibility for the complete sourcing and procurement process for manufacturing spare parts, ensuring that each stage is properly managed from initiation through to final delivery. - Take full responsibility for the complete sourcing and procurement process for operational materials, ensuring that all required materials are sourced, processed, followed up, and delivered as needed. - Manage procurement activities from the initial request or requirement stage through supplier sourcing, quotation review, order processing, follow-up, and successful delivery. - Assess vendor quotations carefully to ensure that pricing, specifications, delivery terms, and commercial conditions are properly reviewed before procurement decisions are made. - Conduct price negotiations with vendors and suppliers in order to secure competitive rates while maintaining the required quality, delivery reliability, and business standards. - Ensure that agreed delivery schedules are strictly followed and that supplier commitments are monitored to support timely receipt of spare parts, MRO items, and operational materials. - Collaborate efficiently with the plant maintenance department to support spare parts availability and reduce the risk of equipment downtime. - Collaborate efficiently with the production department to help maintain smooth production flow and ensure that procurement activities support operational continuity. - Collaborate efficiently with the finance department to coordinate procurement-related financial processes, approvals, documentation, and payment-related requirements. - Work effectively with multiple internal departments to minimize operational downtime by supporting timely sourcing, procurement, and delivery of required spare parts and materials. - Support smooth production flow by ensuring that procurement processes are responsive, accurate, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements. - Ensure strict adherence to all procurement policies maintained by the multinational corporation. - Ensure strict adherence to all legal requirements applicable to procurement activities within the multinational corporation’s operating framework.
