Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC Drafter
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical, Plumbing and HVAC Drafter for a position in Saudi Arabia. The candidate must hold a Diploma in Drafting or Associate Engineering, have a minimum of five years of relevant experience, and be aged between 25 and 35 years. Relevant experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC is preferred. Responsibilities include preparing detailed plumbing and firefighting drawings for accommodations, villas, kitchens, offices, infrastructure and related facilities; preparing shop drawings, installation drawings and detailed MEP drawings; coordinating drawings with architectural and structural designers and detailers to identify and resolve clashes and conflicts; ensuring that drawings comply with applicable local standards, specifications and approved materials; preparing accurate material lists and quantity requirements; and reviewing and updating drawings according to site requirements and design changes. The candidate should have strong knowledge of plumbing design and drafting software, excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, and a strong understanding of plumbing, firefighting and HVAC/MEP drawings and installation requirements. Experience with Revit MEP and SketchUp Pro is an advantage. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook is required, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with architectural, structural and MEP teams and to read and interpret engineering drawings independently.
