Job Description
Urgent hiring is underway for a full-time Electrical BIM Modeler to join China Railway Construction Corporation International (CRCCI) on its ongoing Diriyah Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a minimum of five years of BIM-focused experience and 8–10 years of total professional experience, including strong Electrical BIM experience. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining accurate three-dimensional electrical Building Information Modelling (BIM) models using Autodesk Revit; preparing coordinated models for power, lighting, low-current, and containment systems; coordinating with the architectural, structural, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) disciplines to identify and resolve clashes; preparing electrical shop drawings, layouts, and construction documentation; extracting quantities and supporting material take-offs from BIM models; updating models in accordance with site conditions and construction changes; and ensuring that all models and drawings comply with project standards and specifications. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field, experience with contracting companies, particularly in shop drawings and construction coordination, and experience with residential and commercial building projects. Proficiency in Autodesk Revit is required, while knowledge of Navisworks is an advantage. Strong communication and coordination skills are also required. Preference will be given to candidates with strong Electrical BIM experience and experience in residential and commercial building projects, and immediate availability to join is preferred. The successful candidate will work on the Diriyah Project in Riyadh as part of a dynamic international team on one of Saudi Arabia’s landmark development projects.
