Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-focused Pricing Specialist to become an integral part of our expanding Freight & Logistics team. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and manage detailed freight quotations specifically for air and sea shipments. - Conduct thorough analysis of market trends as well as competitor pricing strategies to maintain competitive pricing structures. - Collaborate and coordinate with carriers, shipping lines, and agents to secure the most advantageous pricing options. - Provide consistent support to the sales team by delivering accurate and timely freight quotations. - Maintain, update, and organize pricing databases and rate sheets to ensure information is current and reliable. - Develop and nurture strong, professional relationships with vendors and logistics partners to facilitate smooth operations. Requirements: - Demonstrated previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or pricing roles within the industry. - Comprehensive knowledge of freight operations across air, sea, and land transportation modes. - Exceptional analytical abilities combined with strong negotiation skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a particular emphasis on Excel. - Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic will be considered an additional advantage. - Capacity to perform efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while consistently meeting deadlines. Requirements
