Accountant Purchaser
Job Description
We are currently seeking a responsible and experienced individual to fill the position of Accountant cum Purchaser within our restaurant team. Key Responsibilities include the following: - Managing daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records. - Maintaining comprehensive records of sales, purchases, expenses, petty cash, and supplier transactions. - Preparing invoices, payment vouchers, and detailed financial reports to support business operations. - Handling supplier quotations, processing purchase orders, and overseeing procurement activities. - Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain food, beverages, packaging materials, and other restaurant-related requirements at competitive prices. - Monitoring inventory levels, stock purchases, and supplier balances to maintain efficient stock control. - Coordinating with management on purchasing decisions and cost control measures to optimize expenditures. - Ensuring proper documentation and systematic filing of all financial and purchase records for easy retrieval and compliance purposes. Requirements for this role are as follows: - Previous experience in accounting and purchasing within the restaurant or Food & Beverage sector is preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software are essential. - Strong communication and negotiation skills are required to manage supplier relationships effectively. - Possession of a valid Saudi driving license is mandatory for this position. - Candidates must be willing to work in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). - A transferable Iqama is preferred to facilitate employment status. - Candidates who are available to join immediately will be given preference in the selection process.
