Operations Executive
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Executive to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The role involves coordinating daily freight forwarding and logistics operations; handling air, sea and land freight shipments; coordinating with customers, shipping lines, transporters and overseas agents; preparing and following up on shipping and customs-clearance documentation; coordinating import and export shipments and delivery arrangements; following up on bills of lading, delivery orders, customs clearance, transportation and delivery activities; monitoring shipment status to ensure timely delivery; and preparing pricing, quotations and operational cost details when required. Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, preferably with freight forwarding and logistics companies, and should have good knowledge of sea freight, air freight, land transport and customs clearance. Familiarity with Saudi logistics and customs procedures is preferred, along with good communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English, with Arabic considered an advantage, good knowledge of Microsoft Office and logistics documentation, and the ability to work independently while handling multiple shipments simultaneously. A valid Saudi driving licence is required, and a transferable Iqama is preferred. Experienced candidates from outside freight forwarding and logistics companies are also invited to apply.
