Senior Microsoft Developer, Power Bi Analyst
Job Description
Two senior Microsoft Developers and Power BI Analysts are required for an IT consulting company based in Saudi Arabia, working for its client in Jeddah. The successful candidates will report directly to the IT Applications Manager and will be responsible for developing Microsoft and web applications, integrating systems, enhancing web portals, developing Microsoft Power BI reports, and supporting Microsoft applications and Power BI reports and dashboards. Candidates must have 5 to 6 years of relevant experience, including application development and Power BI, and a thorough understanding of Microsoft and web application development using current best-practice tools. Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET and C++ in the latest Microsoft Visual Studio environment is an advantage. Experience in developing attractive, feature-rich front ends and user experiences, building Microsoft Power BI queries, reports and dashboards, and working with the Power BI suite, data modelling, data visualisation and web services is required. Candidates should also have strong and proven experience in developing web applications and web services using JavaScript and SOAP, REST and JSON protocols, as well as experience with MVC frameworks and technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Ember, Knockout, Backbone and Bootstrap. Experience in native mobile application development, including Objective-C for iOS, Java for Android or C# for Unity3D, is also required. Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or IFS is an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounts or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. The role requires skills in Microsoft development, mobile application development, script writing, Power BI ETL, design and reporting, business analysis, problem-solving, providing sales solutions, customer engagement and relationship management. Candidates must be adaptable to new technologies, quick to learn, able to prioritise and execute tasks effectively under pressure, and responsive to business requirements, with strong interpersonal skills, dependability, proactivity, quality delivery and timely fulfilment of commitments. This is a permanent, full-time placement, and a transferable Iqama is required after the probationary period. Candidates must be locally available in Saudi Arabia, and those who can join immediately are preferred. Recruitment is currently in progress.
