Senior Instrument Technician
Job Description
We are urgently seeking two freelance Senior Instrument Technicians for immediate deployment to a project in Al Jubail Industrial City, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The engagement is strictly on a freelance, rental, or subcontract basis and is intended as a long-term freelance contract. Responsibilities include diagnosing, overhauling, and repairing control systems on pneumatic airless spray pumps, including Graco King and Xtreme units with 68:1 and 70:1 ratios, as well as bulk abrasive blast pots from Clemco and Schmidt; troubleshooting pneumatic safety deadman systems, pressure regulators, moisture separator drainage controls, and electrical heating element circuits; and calibrating electronic fluid pressure sensors, inline material heaters, air-over-oil transducers, and digital temperature control modules. Candidates must be freelancers currently residing in Saudi Arabia and hold a valid Ajeer or independently transferable Iqama for immediate project mobilization; sponsorship transfer is not provided. Applicants must have at least five years of experience as Instrument Technicians, strong hands-on experience maintaining heavy machinery used in industrial sandblasting, shot-blasting, or spray-painting yards, strong fault-finding skills in electro-pneumatic systems, and expert ability to read P&IDs, loop diagrams, and mechanical schematics. A Technical Diploma or ITI qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
