Xps Machine Operator
Job Description
An XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) Machine Operator is required with a minimum of 10 years of experience in operating XPS equipment. The candidate must be able to operate, monitor, and control XPS extrusion machines safely and efficiently, with strong knowledge of controlling temperatures, pressures, extrusion parameters, and production recipes for different densities and board sizes. Relevant experience and a proven track record in the XPS or plastic extrusion industry are required, along with the ability to communicate, read, and write in English and a Diploma or equivalent qualification in Plastic Technology. The candidate must also be able to perform basic troubleshooting, identify production issues, take corrective action to restore production and maintain product quality, and identify and correct common production defects related to density, thickness, dimensions, surface quality, cell structure, and dimensional stability.
