Job Description
Position Details The position is Environmental Coordinator. The role is assigned to the Khafji KJO Project. The position is based in Khafji. This is a full-time position. Education and Certification The candidate must be a science graduate specialising in environmental studies. The candidate must hold ISO 14001 certification. Experience A minimum of seven years of relevant experience is required. At least three years of experience in oil, gas, or petrochemical projects is required. Job Responsibilities Implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs), environmental procedures, monitoring plans, and compliance registers for project and site activities. Interpret and implement NCEC and MWAN environmental requirements. Monitor environmental aspects and impacts, including air emissions, wastewater, water consumption, waste, hazardous waste, noise, spills, and potential soil or groundwater contamination. Coordinate environmental monitoring activities, including sampling, laboratory analysis, data verification, and the preparation of environmental performance reports. Maintain environmental records, registers, inspection findings, monitoring results, permits, and compliance documentation for audits and reviews by clients or regulatory authorities. Conduct environmental inspections and audits. Identify non-conformities, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and ensure effective follow-up and closure. Support environmental risk assessments and environmental aspect-and-impact assessments. Establish controls for pollution prevention, resource conservation, and emergency environmental response.
