Microsoft 365 Security Engineer

An urgent, full-time Microsoft 365 Security Engineer vacancy is available in Riyadh. Job Summary: The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage enterprise security solutions across Microsoft cloud environments, protect identities, data, servers, and endpoints, and optimize security configurations in Microsoft Defender, Azure Security, and other Microsoft 365 security solutions. Responsibilities include configuring and managing Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, Microsoft Defender for Identity, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps to detect and prevent threats; implementing and maintaining Microsoft Purview compliance solutions, including Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Information Protection, and eDiscovery; securing Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams by enforcing security policies; deploying and managing Azure Active Directory Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, Privileged Identity Management, and role-based access control; configuring and maintaining Microsoft Entra ID security features to prevent unauthorized access; implementing and operating passwordless authentication, Single Sign-On, and Just-in-Time access controls; monitoring and analyzing security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel for Security Information and Event Management, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Security Center; investigating security incidents, responding to threats, and performing root cause analysis; conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks; implementing Data Loss Prevention policies to protect sensitive data across Microsoft 365 services; deploying and managing Microsoft Intune, also known as Endpoint Manager, for device security, compliance, and application control; enforcing Windows Defender security baselines, BitLocker encryption, and Microsoft Edge security configurations; and hardening Microsoft cloud workloads while ensuring that Azure Security Center best practices are followed. A minimum of five years of experience in Microsoft 365 Security, Azure Security, or Cloud Security Engineering is required, along with expertise in Microsoft Defender XDR, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365; hands-on experience with Azure Active Directory security features, including Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, Privileged Identity Management, and role-based access control; strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune or Endpoint Manager and Windows security configurations; experience with Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, and compliance frameworks; proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and security configuration; and familiarity with the Microsoft Graph API and security integrations. Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is required, or equivalent experience. The Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate with certification code SC-200, Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate with certification code SC-400, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate with certification code SC-300, and Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert certifications are preferred.
