HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced, licensed HVAC technician with a minimum of 10 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, maintain and install various heating and cooling systems for commercial and residential properties, including refrigeration systems, air-conditioning units and heating pumps. Responsibilities include conducting routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning equipment, installing new systems, maintaining accurate records of repairs and maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components, collaborating with team members and management to ensure customer satisfaction, adhering to safety procedures and guidelines on job sites, and completing work orders on time. Candidates must have strong technical skills, a thorough understanding of heating and cooling systems and their electrical and mechanical components, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, good physical fitness with the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, a valid driver's licence and reliable transportation. The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed, as well as a willingness to continue education and training to remain current with industry developments and advancements.
