Job Description
Inspect structural steel fabrication and erection to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications. Review project documents and conduct material inspections. Monitor welding, painting, and coating activities. Coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors and maintain quality documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years experience in QC, preferably in structural steel fabrication and erection
- Good knowledge of welding inspection, fabrication, NDT, painting/coating, and dimensional inspection
- Familiarity with WPS, PQR, WPQ, ITP, NCR, MIR, IR, and quality documentation
- Ability to read and understand engineering and fabrication drawings
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Experience with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies
- Experience with Saudi Aramco, SABIC, or NEOM projects is an advantage
