Job Description
Urgent requirement for RTR / GRP Pipe Installers / Fitters. Project Details: - Project sector: Oil & Gas / Saudi Aramco project. - Project location: Saudi Arabia. - Employment type: Project-based assignment. - Position: RTR / GRP Pipe Installer / Fitter. Role Overview: - The project requires highly skilled and experienced RTR / GRP Pipe Installers / Fitters for an important Oil & Gas project in Saudi Arabia. - The role is focused on installation, fitting, alignment, jointing, and related site activities for non-metallic piping systems used on the project. Key Responsibilities: - Install, assemble, align, and joint RTR, GRP, GRE, and FRP piping systems strictly according to approved engineering drawings and project specifications. - Carry out pipe cutting, pipe fitting, jointing, flanging, and all related installation work with accuracy, care, and compliance with quality standards. - Install RTR / GRP piping components, including fittings, bends, tees, reducers, flanges, and other associated parts, while ensuring correct fit-up and alignment. - Read, understand, and follow piping isometric drawings, layouts, and detailed installation procedures to complete the work correctly. - Check pipe alignment, supports, levels, and dimensional accuracy before completing final jointing activities. - Follow manufacturer-approved installation and jointing procedures to support the safety, reliability, and quality of the piping system. - Perform visual inspections and complete the required installation checks before any pressure testing or functionality testing is carried out. - Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, Quality Control inspectors, and other related disciplines to maintain smooth workflow and project progress. - Comply at all times with applicable Saudi Aramco standards, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, and specific project rules. - Maintain good housekeeping at the worksite and follow safe working practices to help keep the site organised and hazard-free. Mandatory Requirements: - Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in RTR, GRP, GRE, or FRP piping installation. - Valid manufacturer certification from Nepro or Future Pipe Industries (FPI) is mandatory. - Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects is preferred due to the project standards and site requirements. - Aramco approval or certification, where applicable, is highly desirable. - Ability to read and interpret piping drawings and isometric diagrams accurately. - Strong practical knowledge of RTR / GRP pipe jointing techniques and installation methods. - Candidates must be able to provide valid and verifiable certificates supporting their qualifications and experience. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia with a valid Iqama will receive priority consideration. - Immediate availability to join the project is highly preferred for timely mobilisation.
