Quantity Surveyor Cum Draftsman
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor and Draftsman for our aluminium and glass factory. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field, with a minimum of five years of experience, including at least three years in Saudi Arabia or any GCC country. Experience in aluminium and glass works, including windows, doors, curtain walls, façades, office partitions, and glazing systems, is required. The role requires strong experience in preparing bills of quantities, performing quantity take-offs, cost estimation and tendering, calculating material quantities, preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD, reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, preparing cutting lists, glass schedules, and material lists, and coordinating with production, site engineers, and project teams. Candidates should have good knowledge of aluminium profiles, accessories, and fabrication processes, be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, and have good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage. Responsibilities include preparing bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents; performing quantity take-offs from drawings; preparing detailed shop drawings and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD; preparing cutting lists, glass sizes, and material schedules; coordinating with factory production and installation teams; monitoring project quantities and cost variations; and ensuring that drawings comply with project specifications and consultant requirements. - Ability to coordinate with production, site engineers and project teams.
- Good knowledge of aluminium profiles, accessories and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
