QC Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated QC Electrical Engineer to join our construction and project team in Saudi Arabia. The responsibilities include inspecting electrical installation work in accordance with approved drawings and specifications; assisting with the preparation and implementation of Inspection and Test Plans, inspection checklists, WIR/RFI, MIR, and quality documentation; monitoring electrical works, including medium- and low-voltage cables, panels, switchgear, lighting, earthing, cable trays, and equipment installation; coordinating inspections with construction teams, consultants, and clients; assisting with electrical testing, commissioning, punch-list activities, and handover documentation; preparing daily inspection reports and maintaining QC records; identifying quality issues and supporting corrective actions and NCR closure; and complying with project QA/QC and HSE requirements. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification and have 0–1 year of electrical QC/QA experience. Fresh graduates with relevant site or QC training may also be considered. Gulf or Saudi construction experience is preferred. Candidates should have basic knowledge of ITPs, WIR/RFI, MIR, NCRs, inspection procedures, and electrical testing; the ability to read SLDs, electrical layouts, shop drawings, and specifications; and a good command of English. Knowledge of IEC, NEC, IEEE, or Saudi project requirements is an advantage. Candidates currently in Saudi Arabia with a valid or transferable Iqama are preferred. Key skills include electrical QC, QA/QC documentation, ITPs, WIR/RFI, MIR, NCRs, medium- and low-voltage electrical inspection, testing and commissioning, electrical drawings, and HSE.
