Job Description
The Procurement Engineer is responsible for managing the procurement process from identifying material requirements to ensuring delivery. This role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices, and preparing purchase orders. The engineer coordinates with project and engineering teams to ensure materials comply with specifications and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical preferred)
- Experience in procurement or construction-related purchasing
- Knowledge of construction materials and suppliers
- Ability to understand BOQs, drawings, and specifications
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Currently based in Riyadh
