Job Description
A leading company specializing in advanced building technology and façade solutions is seeking an experienced, full-time Façade Engineering Manager to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and lead façade engineering, structural design and multidisciplinary coordination activities for major construction projects in GRC, GFRC, UHPC and façade engineering. Key responsibilities include leading façade engineering and structural design activities from concept through fabrication and installation; developing technically compliant, cost-effective and constructible façade solutions; managing the design of GRC, GFRC, UHPC and other prefabricated façade systems; reviewing structural calculations, secondary steelwork, brackets, anchors, embeds and connection details; overseeing shop drawings, fabrication drawings and technical submissions; leading BIM coordination using Revit, Tekla Structures and Navisworks; coordinating with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, production teams and site teams; attending technical meetings and managing responses to consultant comments; conducting technical reviews, constructability assessments and clash-detection exercises; resolving façade-related technical issues during production and installation; monitoring design schedules, engineering deliverables and departmental performance; supervising and mentoring engineers, BIM coordinators and draftsmen; and ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and quality requirements. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering and have at least seven years of relevant experience, including technical leadership or managerial experience, with strong experience in façade engineering involving GRC, GFRC, UHPC, cladding or precast façade systems and in delivering façade packages for large-scale construction projects. Strong knowledge of structural steel, secondary framing and connection design, proficiency in Revit, Tekla Structures, Navisworks and structural analysis software, familiarity with Eurocodes, British Standards and relevant American standards, and excellent leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills are required. GCC experience and Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility are preferred, and fluency in English is required.
