Steel Structure Fabricator
Job Description
An experienced Steel Structure Fabricator is urgently required for immediate deployment to construction and contracting projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with deployment to any location across the Kingdom according to project requirements. Responsibilities include fabricating and installing steel structures and metal works at construction sites; reading and understanding shop drawings, fabrication drawings, dimensions and measurements; cutting, grinding, drilling, fitting and assembling steel materials according to drawings; fabricating steel frames, supports, brackets, platforms, handrails, ladders, gates and structural members; performing proper marking, alignment, leveling and fit-up before welding or installation; undertaking structural steel work related to civil, MEP and maintenance projects; fabricating and installing equipment supports, pipe supports, cable tray supports and other MEP-related steel supports; modifying, repairing and maintaining existing steel structures; coordinating with welders, electricians, plumbers, MEP technicians and site supervisors; ensuring the quality, dimensions and finishing of fabricated work; following site safety procedures, PPE requirements and work permits; maintaining tools and equipment properly and keeping the work area clean and organized; and performing other steel fabrication and installation duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Engineer. Candidates must have proven experience as a Steel Structure Fabricator and relevant experience in construction, civil, MEP, maintenance or contracting work. An own Iqama holder is preferred, and immediate joiners will be given preference. Candidates must be physically fit, willing to work at project sites and willing to work anywhere in Saudi Arabia according to project requirements.
