Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in specialty coffee preparation, excellent customer service skills, and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities include operating commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders efficiently; preparing and serving hot and cold coffee beverages, espresso drinks, and specialty beverages according to standard recipe specifications; demonstrating proficiency in latte art and milk-steaming techniques; maintaining clean work areas, coffee stations, and equipment in compliance with health and hygiene standards; handling customer orders, taking payments, and providing friendly, fast service. Requirements include a minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a barista in a busy café or coffee shop, solid knowledge of coffee extraction, espresso calibration, and coffee bean varieties, good communication skills in English, proficiency in latte art and milk-steaming techniques, customer service skills, a strong work ethic, the ability to operate commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Arabic is a plus. A transferable Iqama is required for local candidates. Preferred nationalities are Filipino, Indian, or Nepali.
