Commissioning Engineer
Job Description
Dear job seekers, we are seeking an experienced HCIS/SAIS Commissioning Engineer to lead the execution and commissioning of integrated security systems for SEC substations and other industrial projects. The key responsibilities include managing the complete project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through installation, commissioning, testing, and handover; ensuring compliance with applicable HCIS/SAIS requirements for Security Classes 1 through 5; and managing and coordinating access control, CCTV/VMS, IDAS, perimeter security, and integrated security systems. Hands-on knowledge of Lenel Access Control and Genetec VMS is required, along with the ability to lead FAT, SAT, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and integrated system testing. The engineer will coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and relevant authorities; review engineering drawings, technical submittals, method statements, ITPs, commissioning procedures, and handover documentation; and ensure successful HCIS/SAIS inspections, client acceptance, and project close-out. Applicants must hold a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline, with proven experience in electronic security systems and project commissioning, strong knowledge of HCIS/SAIS requirements and industrial security projects, experience with Lenel, Genetec, CCTV, access control, IDAS, and system integration, and strong project management, troubleshooting, coordination, and communication skills. Experience with SEC substations, oil and gas, or industrial projects is highly desirable.
