Elv Site Engineer
Job Description
The ELV Site Engineer will supervise ELV installations in accordance with approved drawings and manufacturer instructions, plan and manage manpower, prepare daily and weekly rosters, and coach technicians. The role includes conducting quality checks, raising and closing nonconformance reports and punch lists, carrying out testing and commissioning, and documenting cable certification and functional tests. The engineer will prepare and maintain daily reports, material inspection records, test reports, and handover packs, while coordinating with clients, consultants, and other trades. The role also requires enforcing site safety, conducting toolbox talks, following HSE procedures, and preparing daily site reports covering manpower, progress, materials, and safety notes. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification and have 1–3 years of ELV project experience, with more experience required for senior roles. Technical skills are required in structured cabling, CAT6 termination and testing, CCTV and access control, basic networking, and drawing reading, along with familiarity with cable testers, multimeters, crimping tools, and OTDR/Fluke reports. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, time-management, and report-writing skills are required. English is required, while Arabic is advantageous.
