Job Description

Location: Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-time Department: Finance and Operations Reports To: Finance/Operations Manager We are currently looking to recruit a meticulous and highly organized Junior Accountant and Logistics Coordinator, with a preference for female candidates, to provide essential support to our finance and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day accounting functions as well as coordinating shipments, managing inventory, liaising with suppliers, and handling all related documentation efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Accounting: - Accurately record daily financial transactions to ensure the maintenance of precise accounting records. - Prepare essential financial documents including invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and journal entries. - Provide assistance in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. - Conduct reconciliation of bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer balances to maintain financial accuracy. - Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections. - Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to facilitate smooth financial period closures. - Maintain well-organized financial records along with all supporting documentation for auditing and reference purposes. - Assist with ongoing expense tracking, budgeting activities, and the preparation of financial reports. - Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and all applicable accounting regulations and standards. Logistics: - Coordinate both local and international shipments through close collaboration with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and transport providers. - Prepare and verify essential shipment documentation, including purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists, invoices, and shipping documents. - Track shipments continuously and provide timely updates to all relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency. - Monitor stock levels regularly and assist in inventory reconciliation to maintain stock accuracy. - Organize and coordinate deliveries effectively to guarantee that goods are received accurately and within the scheduled timeframes. - Proactively resolve shipment delays, discrepancies in documentation, and delivery issues promptly and efficiently. - Maintain accurate records related to logistics activities, supplier information, and inventory status. - Assist with customs clearance processes and the preparation of import/export documentation when applicable. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field. - Up to two years of relevant professional experience; recent graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply. - Fundamental understanding of accounting principles combined with a basic familiarity with logistics processes. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office suite applications is required. - Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all assigned tasks. - Strong organizational capabilities, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet established deadlines. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in the required language(s). - Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
