Safety Officer
Job Description
We are seeking an Aramco-approved Safety Officer to join our team and ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards across project sites. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing safety protocols in industrial, oil and gas, or construction environments. Responsibilities include monitoring and enforcing compliance with Aramco HSE guidelines and site-specific safety plans, conducting daily site inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, investigating incidents and near misses, preparing corrective action reports, maintaining permit-to-work systems and safety documentation, liaising with Aramco HSE representatives during audits and inspections, and training and mentoring site personnel on safety procedures and the use of personal protective equipment. The requirements for this role are a valid Aramco Safety Officer approval or certification, which is mandatory; NEBOSH IGC or OSHA certification, which is preferred; a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas or construction sector; strong knowledge of Saudi Aramco safety standards, including SAES and GI's; fluency in English; and a transferable Iqama. Arabic language skills are an advantage.
