Job Description
ASASCO is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Saudi national accountant to join its team in Al Khobar on a full-time basis. Key responsibilities include managing daily accounting transactions, the general ledger and journal entries; handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable invoicing and reconciliations; preparing quarterly VAT returns and ensuring strict compliance with ZATCA guidelines; assisting with month-end and year-end financial closing processes; performing monthly bank reconciliations and tracking cash flow; and collaborating with external auditors during financial audits. Requirements include Saudi Arabian nationality, a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, and 1–3 years of accounting experience, with industrial or commercial sector experience preferred. Proficiency in ERP software and Microsoft Excel, a solid understanding of Saudi tax and ZATCA regulations, fluency in Arabic, professional working proficiency in English and a detail-oriented approach to accounting work are also required. - Experience with general ledger management, journal entries, AR and AP invoicing, reconciliations, VAT returns, financial closing, bank reconciliations, cash-flow tracking, and external audit coordination.
