Position and Employment Details The Group is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager for its group of companies in Riyadh. This is a full-time position. Applicants must meet the stated educational criteria. Role Overview The Finance Manager will work closely and collaboratively with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide effective financial support across the Group. The role will ensure the adoption of financial management best practices aligned with the Group’s strategic financial goals. Performance Focus and Strategic Importance Develop and adopt financial management strategies that contribute directly to generating profit for the business. Formulate comprehensive annual financial plans and budgets that emphasise long-term financial gains. Identify and quantify available and potential financial resources. Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with third parties. Oversee and control day-to-day financial operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Provide strategic advice to top management to minimise financial risks. Manage and control credit facilities and the value of company assets. Key Internal Relationships Maintain proactive interaction and communication with all departments and subsidiary companies across the Group, excluding the direct reporting line. Key External Relationships Liaise and coordinate with the General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT). Work closely with the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF). Manage relationships with local and international banks. Engage with existing and prospective clients to support business growth and financial arrangements. Job Authority, Supervision, Team Size and Scope Lead and manage all Finance and Accounting teams across the Group’s companies. Hold the authority to approve the Annual Budget Plan for the entire Group. Oversee and authorise the Group’s annual and monthly cash flow. Establish and implement strategic financial policies and procedures across the Group. Detailed Responsibilities 1. Supervise and monitor daily Finance and Accounting operations within the company, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate, compliant and properly controlled. 2. Establish contracts and manage relationships with third-party service providers for essential financial functions, including Zakat preparation, auditing, bank statements, investment management, Saudi Industrial Development Fund matters and other financial requirements as necessary. 3. Negotiate and finalise contracts with local and international banks concerning banking facilities. 4. Continuously track the company’s financial position and performance to identify areas with potential for improvement. 5. Provide senior executives with clear and insightful financial information and projections to support well-informed short-term and long-term decisions. 6. Identify and analyse uncertainties associated with investment decisions and take appropriate steps to mitigate them through thorough risk assessments. 7. Assess potential financial exposure through a detailed review of capital expenditure (CapEx) and workplace policies. 8. Apply advanced risk metrics, including standard deviation and value-at-risk (VaR) strategies, to manage financial risk effectively. 9. Conduct market research covering pricing strategies, competitor activities and other factors that influence company performance. 10. Proactively identify methods for reducing the financial and fraud risks faced by the company. 11. Implement and maintain stringent control measures to prevent fraud and ensure strict adherence to company policies and procedures. 12. Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures that fully comply with regulations, legislation and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 13. Oversee inventory analysis, control and reporting to maintain optimal stock levels and accurate records. 14. Control income streams, cash flow and expenditure while preparing detailed projected cash flow statements. 15. Maintain robust accounting control systems designed to safeguard company assets, including comprehensive fixed-asset management. 16. Regularly analyse accounting data and produce detailed analytical reports for management as required. 17. Research and integrate best-practice methodologies in credit risk management, goodwill assessment, financial risk management, treasury management and financial statement consolidation. 18. Develop and implement financial strategies that effectively minimise the company’s exposure to financial risk. 19. Adopt and apply sophisticated financial models covering budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management and related areas. 20. Review financial data meticulously and prepare monthly and annual financial reports for formal presentation to board members, stakeholders and executives. 21. Report directly to top management and provide expert advice concerning future business decisions, taking current and projected market conditions into account. 22. Remain fully informed about technological advancements and emerging accounting software tools that could enhance financial operations. 23. Collaborate closely with the Information Technology (IT), Human Resources (HR) and Procurement teams to support the successful implementation of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. 24. Review the terms and conditions of letters of credit and bank guarantees while maintaining active liaison with banks and clients. 25. Promote financial efficiency across the company and work to minimise wasteful expenditure. 26. Identify the key cost centres that generate the highest operating expenses or exceed budgeted amounts. 27. Analyse and report on opportunities to optimise costs and improve financial performance. 28. Ensure the company maintains sufficient liquidity to cover operating expenses without requiring external financing. 29. Identify areas where reinvesting earnings could contribute more effectively to achieving the company’s strategic goals. 30. Monitor and analyse budget variances by comparing actual financial results against planned budgets. 31. Detect financial problems promptly and take appropriate corrective action to mitigate their impact. 32. Continue collaborating with the Information Technology, Human Resources and Procurement departments to provide ongoing support for the Enterprise Resource Planning system. 33. Re-examine letters of credit and bank guarantees while maintaining effective communication with banks and clients. 34. Continuously promote financial discipline to improve the company’s overall efficiency and reduce waste. 35. Identify and report on operating cost centres with significant expenditure or budget overruns. 36. Provide detailed analyses and reports identifying areas where operational cost optimisation can be applied. 37. Ensure the company’s liquidity position remains robust enough to meet all operating expense commitments independently. 38. Propose investment strategies aimed at maximising the effective use of earnings toward achieving company objectives. 39. Track, analyse and interpret differences between budgeted performance and actual financial results. 40. Take decisive action to resolve financial issues while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Education Required A Master’s Degree in Finance is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
