Site Engineer
Job Description
Edge Rope Company is seeking a Site Engineer. The tasks and responsibilities include supervising daily activities on site and ensuring adherence to project plans, monitoring the progress of the work and ensuring that it conforms to the approved schedule, preparing daily and weekly reports for the site, and coordinating with consultants, contractors and government agencies. The role also includes ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations, reviewing and approving the materials used on the site, solving technical problems and supporting on-site decision-making. Applicants must have a strong ability to read architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical drawings, be proficient in using engineering software such as AutoCAD, MS Project or Primavera, and Advanced Excel, and have a good understanding of Saudi building codes and standards. Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, the ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently, and teamwork and leadership skills are required. Additional requirements include a valid driver's licence, preparedness to work at various locations within the Kingdom, and knowledge of safety procedures and site risk management.
