Workshop Supervisor
Job Description
Supervise daily workshop activities ensuring smooth production. Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings accurately. Prepare material take-offs, quantity calculations, and job costing. Monitor fabrication quality, productivity, and project timelines. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and workshop teams while ensuring compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor or Fabrication Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, and workshop operations.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of cost estimation and material requirements.
- Experience in the Saudi market.
- Knowledge of local suppliers, materials, and fabrication practices.
- Ability to manage technicians, welders, fabricators, and workshop manpower.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Technical diploma or relevant engineering qualification preferred.
