Job Description
A highly respected and prominent Fire Protection Contracting Company located in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently looking to recruit an experienced Safety Officer to become a valued member of our professional team. The successful candidate will be stationed in Riyadh and may be required to work on various projects throughout different locations within the Kingdom. Educational Qualifications: • Candidates must hold a Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a closely related field. Requirements: • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working as a Safety Officer within the GCC region or specifically in Saudi Arabia, particularly within construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), or fire protection projects. • Possession of a valid NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory for this role. • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Saudi Arabian safety regulations, along with international Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards. • Proven experience in carrying out safety inspections, performing risk assessments, delivering toolbox talks, conducting incident investigations, and facilitating safety training sessions. • Competence in preparing all necessary HSE documentation, including detailed reports, permits, and maintaining compliance records. • Strong communication abilities paired with effective leadership skills are essential. • Candidates must hold a transferable Iqama with a minimum validity period of three months at the time of application. • A valid Saudi Arabian Driving License is preferred but not compulsory. • Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic will be considered an additional advantage. - Ability to prepare HSE documentation, reports, permits, and compliance records
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Transferable Iqama with a minimum validity of 3 months
- Good command of English; Arabic is an added advantage
