Xps Operator
Job Description
A minimum of 10 years of experience as an XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) Operator is required, along with a proven ability to operate, monitor, and control XPS extrusion machines safely and efficiently. The candidate must have strong knowledge of controlling temperatures, pressures, extrusion parameters, and production recipes for different densities and board sizes, as well as a proven track record and relevant experience in the XPS or plastic extrusion industry. The role requires the ability to communicate, read, and write in English, a diploma or equivalent qualification in Plastic Technology, and the ability to perform basic troubleshooting, identify production issues, and take corrective action to restore production and maintain product quality. The candidate must also be able to identify and correct common production defects related to density, thickness, dimensions, surface quality, cell structure, and dimensional stability.
