Job Description
The Transport Supervisor is responsible for managing daily dispatch plans and assigning trucks to shipments. The role involves supervising fleet and driver performance to ensure timely deliveries, overseeing maintenance programs, controlling costs, handling operational issues, maintaining vehicle documentation, and providing weekly reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or mechanical engineering
- 3–5 years experience in land freight transport in Saudi Arabia
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of Saudi transport regulations and documentation
- Experience in truck and trailer maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Excel and transport management/reporting systems
- Fluent Arabic; English is an advantage
- Valid driving license
