Architectural Technical Office Manager
Job Description
A construction company is seeking an experienced Architectural Technical Office Manager for a project in Riyadh, with 15–18 years of experience managing architectural and finishing-related technical activities. Key responsibilities include managing the technical office team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance; reviewing architectural drawings, shop drawings and technical details; preparing and reviewing shop drawings and material submittals; preparing quantity take-offs and reviewing bills of quantities and payment certificates; reviewing material requests and ensuring compliance with project specifications; preparing and following up on requests for information and variation orders; coordinating with consultants, site teams and MEP departments; monitoring project schedules and ensuring the timely submission of drawings and approvals; providing technical solutions and resolving design conflicts and site issues; and ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering and have 15–18 years of relevant experience, including extensive experience in technical office management within construction companies, as well as strong experience in architectural and finishing works. Proficiency in preparing and reviewing shop drawings, bills of quantities and quantity take-offs, and in using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required, while knowledge of Revit is preferred. Strong leadership, organizational and team-management skills, along with excellent technical coordination and communication skills, are also required.
