Food Safety Coordinator
Job Description
The Food Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing safety programs and procedures to prevent workplace accidents, injuries and illnesses, conducting safety inspections, audits and investigations to identify hazards, and developing action plans to mitigate or eliminate them. The role includes maintaining and implementing HACCP, GMP and other regulatory frameworks, scheduling and hosting third-party audits and health department inspections, educating employees on proper personal hygiene, safe food preparation and cross-contamination prevention, monitoring product flow to identify potential contamination risks, overseeing temperature logs, sanitation schedules and pest control reports, and managing records for regulatory agencies, product recalls and internal quality metrics. Applicants must have 2 to 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance or industry operations, and a PCQI certification is frequently required or preferred. A valid, non-expired transferable Iqama is required, and immediate availability to join is necessary.
